To whom this may concern:
The staff of A.C.T (Arts Culture Theatre) would like to take this opportunity to inform you about an excellent scholarship opportunity that will benefit your students. A.C.T Right is a nonprofit organization based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Our mission is to give an opportunity to the youth and young adults of our community to develop and display their passions for the performing arts, while encouraging creativity and building confidence.
We would like to tell you about the launch of our exciting new program for young adults, “Scholarship Showcase”. A $300 scholarship is awarded per semester to students currently majoring in any performing arts or theatre majors. Students must be enrolled in a 4 year college/university in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.
To qualify, students must submit an application complete with an essay by logging on to our website www.fjpactright.org. Applicants with the best essays will be chosen and asked to submit a video performing their “art” of choice. We will open the videos to the public and allow them to vote on the best video. The applicant with the most votes will win the scholarship.
We are excited to offer this opportunity to your students, and hope that you would encourage your students to participate. If you have any questions, we can be reached at (704)325-2ACT. Thank you.
